No beach trip would be complete without taking a walk along the cost and watching the wildlife.

Inspired by a beautiful photo of adult American Avocets sleeping in a group by Jim Brandenburg. This drawing took me back to many long strolls on the beach of the Oregon coast with my family. Many early mornings the cool ocean air would push a beautiful gray fog into the calm shores as all sorts of beach dwelling birds would nap together. My favorite aspect of drawing this piece was the calm cool colors I used in this simplistic composition. The majestic glowing fog cradles these subjects in a protected blanket of dreamy like peace.
This is an original drawing by Jeremy Allen. All pieces are done on acid free, medium-weight (70 lb.) drawing paper and finished with Sanford Prismacolor fixative spray to protect against UV light and smudging.
Drawing is 14 inches wide by 17 inches height and have a 1 inch hand drawn boarder.
