Sam Elliott by Jeremy Allen
An iconic pencil drawing of Sam Elliott with a touch of color for the eyes to make them pop.
Inspired by a still shot from a film titled ‘Ghost Rider’ starring Sam Elliott. Sam’s face haunted my mind as I was pondering what my next piece would be. To my surprise, the very image I was thinking of drawing was the first image to appear in my research. His rough hands were my favorite part of this drawing because they remind me of my father’s well-worn hands from years of hard work. In a way, Sam Elliott is the perfect image of my father; he is old-fashioned, stern, to-the-point, hard working, and yet the most amazingly gentle and compassionate person I’ve ever known. My father is my hero like Sam Elliott is the hero of Ghost Rider ...timelessly heroic.
