Growing up with parents who volunteered at the Audubon Society and Birds of Prey rehabilitation center at the Portland Oregon Zoo I came to love visiting my parents as they tended to injured birds of prey. After drawing this piece in graphite, I felt I had to try my hand at drawing the same piece in color. Doing so I found myself flashing back to my childhood. My heart breaks for those beautiful birds that pleaded for my parents' help. NOw in my little way, I can help them. If you purchase this piece, 100% of the proceeds will be donated to the Audubon Society for injured or endangered birds of prey. This is an original drawing by Jeremy Allen. All pieces are done on acid free, medium-weight (70 lb.) drawing paper and finished with Sanford Prismacolor fixative spray to protect against UV light and smudging.
Drawing is 14 inches wide by 11 inches height and have a 1 inch hand drawn boarder.
Artwork ships directly from the Delightful Drawings Studio in a rigid tube mailer for protection.
