1969 Beetle by Jeremy Allen
.
Pondering which Beetle year to draw, I chose 1969 because it was one of the two Beetles my parents owned as newlyweds. I snuck it into the Lindau lighthouse from Lake Constance, Germany. This is to pay tribute to the heritage of the German people from hence the Beetle came from. There was so much about this piece that I enjoyed creating, it's hard to pick one thing I love most, but if I must pick, I'd say it's the details of it all.
This is an original drawing by Jeremy Allen. All pieces are done on acid free, medium-weight (70 lb.) drawing paper and finished with Sanford Prismacolor fixative spray to protect against UV light and smudging.
Drawing is 14 inches wide by 11 inches height and have a 1 inch hand drawn boarder.
Artwork ships directly from the Delightful Drawings Studio in a rigid tube mailer for protection.
