The best part about the summer is spending time at the water. It doesn’t matter if it is the pool, lake, or the ocean taking a dip on a hot summer day refreshes the body and the mind.

When I found this photo in a magazine it spoke to me of the elegant, beauty, and care that God put into water and the female body. These two creations are essential to life and came together perfectly in the drawing. I added a slight fog to bring together the grace of the mother of all living as she dips into the waters that sustain life. My favorite part of creating this drawing was a soft yet rigid structure of the subjects right shoulder and hair. When I look at this piece I often wonder what her face looks like.
This is an original drawing by Jeremy Allen. All pieces are done on acid free, medium-weight (70 lb.) drawing paper and finished with Sanford Prismacolor fixative spray to protect against UV light and smudging.
Drawing is 17 inches wide by 14 inches height and have a 1 inch hand drawn boarder.
