I believe the Portland Head lighthouse of Cape Elizabeth, Maine is one of the most stunning lighthouses ever created. Its beauty was first erected in 1791 and has been drawn by sailors, artists and sightseers for hundreds of years. This lighthouse is a beacon of inspiration for those who visit seeing it in a storm gives me perspective within my own trails. This drawing took me a while to get right, but was was well worth the task. If I was to pick a specific part that was my favorite part of this drawing I would have to say the rocks where a joy to draw.
