Hands Full of Love by Jeremy Allen
Hands can do many things, but are best used when professing love in words and actions.
This drawing is an example to any aspiring artist that inspiration can be found anywhere. Even if the subject is common and found in a cosmetic magazine such as this one. By putting my own twist on this drawing I eliminated all the background and simplified the image. I found the old saying holds true, “Less is more.” As I rendered my version of this image of love, I found joy in the details of each wrinkle, fold, and curve of this young ladies hands. For me hands were always a challenge, so I worked and worked at them until it was no longer frustrating but rather a joy to draw them. If you are struggling, I encourage you to keep trying. With God’s help and time, anything is possible.
