Patience by Jeremy Allen
There are many firsts in a child's life: their first word, step, and of course their first haircut.
When I found this photo in Popular Photography magazine by Kieth Napolitano, it gave me a great inspiration to create a poetic memory of what it was like for my son's first haircut. A memory I treasured because he fully trusted me at just over a year. He, his mother and I were all patient with each other and in result we bonded in the moment. I felt this piece symbolized that tender moment.
This is an original drawing by Jeremy Allen. All pieces are done on acid free, medium-weight (70 lb.) drawing paper and finished with Sanford Prismacolor fixative spray to protect against UV light and smudging.
Drawing is 14 inches wide by 11 inches height and have a 1 inch hand drawn boarder.
Artwork ships directly from the Delightful Drawings Studio in a rigid tube mailer for protection.
