The Survivor by Jeremy Allen
It is not our trails that define us, but how we deal with them. Surviving sickness and illnesses takes tenacity and strengthens all involved.
Inspired by a photo taken by William Albert Allard of a malaria patient in Rondonia, Brazil. This photo spoke to me of the endearing struggles that young women all around the world face. My favorite part of this portrait was the look of tenacity on the subjects face in the moment of despair. I feel like this image truly captured the enduring spirit of the survivor.
